Michael Parr trained in the UK, New Zealand, USA and Australia. He is a Senior Staff Specialist and Deputy Director of Intensive Care at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals, Sydney and Senior Lecturer in Intensive Care, Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine at the University of New South Wales. He is Associate Editor of the journal Resuscitation the official journal of the European Resuscitation Council and contributor to the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation guidelines process. He is President of International Trauma Care (ITACCS, www.itaccs.com ).
